CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

 

 

Our ‘Cancellation & Returns’ policy applies to every single order placed at www.hamporio.com

Hamporio reserves the complete right to mend or change the cancellation and returns policy. Any amendments in the same shall be notified to customers beforehand via an email.

 

  • Cancellation by Hamporio

The right to cancel is at our discretion. We can refuse and not accept the cancellation request for a suitable reason. The reasons for the cancellation of the product can range from ‘change of mind’ and ‘poor quality of the product’ to ‘delayed shipping’ and so on. Additional information will also be required before the request is accepted. You will be asked regarding what exactly you want to cancel i.e. the entire order or certain parts. If it’s a prepaid order, the amount will be refunded to the account that was used to make the payment.

  • Cancellation by the user

The cancellation request shall be valid only if you initiated within 24 hours of placing the order. However, before you make a request regarding the return of the product, it is recommended that you track the status of your order in the ‘My orders’ page that is under the ‘My account’ section. In case the product purchased by you has been dispatched and shipped, we would be in no position to cancel your order or modify it. We may cancel an order if it isn’t available for some reason. This will be notified to you, if it is the case, and the amount paid by you will be refunded. The mode of refund will be the same method that you used to pay for the product.

Since all the emails or calls are answered during the business hours i.e. 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM on business days, there can be situations where we might have already dispatched the order and were unable to respond. In these scenarios, unfortunately, we wouldn’t be able to modify as requested. The customer has to be satisfied with the decision we take regarding the cancellation of an order. If you want to cancel, you need to contact the customer support team by writing us at our email address or contact us on support@hamporio.com during working hours.

  • What is the process of refund for the cancelled orders? How long will this process take?

The refund will be processed within 24-48 business hours after we have received a valid cancellation request. If the payment has been done through net banking or by using credit card or debit card, the refund will be initiated in the same bank account within the stipulated time i.e. 5-7 business days.

  • What is the validity of discount vouchers or referral points after the cancellation?

The discount vouchers are for one-time use only. So if you have used it on an order that you later cancel, the discount vouchers then become invalid. They can’t be reused again. The loyalty points will be credited back to your account, if you have cancelled the order.

 

  • RETURN, REFUND AND REPLACEMENT – DOMESTIC

It is important to note that not all products can be returned. It is your responsibility to check if the product you have ordered is returnable. Thus, please read the return and exchange policy of a product by checking the product description page on Hamporio. It is well within our rights to refuse a return request without assigning a reason. In case of a customised/personalised product, no return request will be accepted since the products are specifically tailored as per the request of the customer. Products shipped outside India are not eligible for return.

 

  • Process of Returning an item

If you wish to return the delivered product, you must reach out to us within 5 days of receiving the order. You can check the return policy from the product description page. The item to be returned must be unused, unwashed and undamaged. It must have the label intact and the product must be returned to us in the original package. Again, we have the discretion to refuse the return request for any reason. To return, follow these simple steps:

  1. Reach out to the customer service department within 5 business days via email at support@hamporio.com
  2. Mention the order details and the reason for return/replace/refund your order. You have to attach the image of the product and the invoice for reference.
  3. The product will be picked up in 2-4 business days. The refund will be initiated once the product reaches the warehouse and has undergone the quality check.

 

  1. In case of unavailability of a product that you seek for replacement, the amount will be refunded to your bank account.

 

  • Items that cannot be returned/replaced

In case the following conditions are met, the return will not be accepted:

  1. Personalised order.
  2. Orders shipped outside of India.
  3. Damaged product
  4. Original tags, packaging, freebies, accessories missing.
  5. Tampered serial number
  6. Used or altered product.
  7. Request for return filed after 48 hours

 

  • Conditions for returns
  1. Items requested for return must be unused with tags intact. Damaged products will not be accepted. Inform the customer service department via email in case the product was delivered without tags.
  2. Any kind of belt i.e. authenticity cards, dust bags, leather tags or any accessories must be also returned.
  3. No product that has been altered, modified or adjusted will be accepted for return/refund.
  4. The personalised products are not eligible for return/refund/replacement.
  5. All products shipped outside India are not eligible for return/refund/replacement.
  6. A bulk order i.e. order that has more than five products shall not be eligible for return/refund/replacement.
  7. In case of a Faulty/Damaged Products: If, due to unfortunate and unseen event, the gift delivered to you is damaged or faulty; we will replace the gift collection and deliver the correct and perfect order. As soon as you receive the damaged product, you must inspect and report back to Hamporio within 5 business days in case the goods do not match the product you ordered. If you delay or not notify us regarding the condition of the product, we will in no position be able to replace the product and assume that the delivered product fits the specified requirements. No claim can be made or recognized if not reverted within 5 business days.

In the event of the product being damaged and your inability to notify us regarding the same within the stipulated time, Hamporio will make arrangements regarding the return of the product. As soon as the product arrives, it will be inspected and all attempts will be made to deliver the correct product to you. There is no refund for damaged or faulty product. It’s a non-refundable item. To remedy the grievances caused to you because of a faulty/damaged product, we require your assistance and certain details/information regarding the nature of the damaged product. These are:

  1. The details of the nature of the damage or defect reasonably.
  2. The delivery note number and other sorts of information as and when we require.
  3. The procedure to be followed while returning the faulty/damaged product is:

    2. Mention the order details and the reason for return/replace/refund your order. You have to attach the image of the product and the invoice for reference.
    3. The product will be picked up in 2-4 business days. The refund will be initiated once the product reaches the warehouse and has undergone the quality check.

 

  • Returning a part of your order

If you have ordered multiple products and wish to return only a portion of the order, you are eligible to do so. However, the part that you wish to return must include all the components and complimentary gifts that came along with it.

  • Refunds

We believe in what we deliver and we deliver with utmost care and perfection. Thus, we do not have the option of refunds for products that are already shipped and delivered to the customer with no sign of damage. It is thus advised to choose your products carefully as the moment the payment for an order has been processed, there would be no exchange or refund. However, we in no scenario negate the possibility of human error. So, do check if the product delivered was what you ordered. In the event of a damaged product or a different product, you must reach out to us within 5 working days whether or not it is eligible. Once notified, it will be our responsibility to make arrangements regarding the return of the product and to provide you with the correct, perfect gift you ordered on your confirmation receipt.

Returns, Refunds and Replacement- International

Items that are delivered and shipped outside India are not eligible for returns, refunds or replacement. No international order shall be allowed free shipping unless the purchase amount is above Rs. 5000.

  • No Compensation Policy

In case the product delivered to you doesn’t meet your expectations, no compensation other than the return, refund or replacement as prescribed in the company’s policy shall be provided. You can’t seek compensation if: the product doesn’t match the appearance as shown; if the product has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances; inability to apply discount vouchers; unavailability of items. Unreasonable compensation will not be entertained and Hamporio reserves the discretion to cancel the request or block accounts without providing any reason.
